Thank you for fix. I can confirm this to be effective on Ubuntu 18.04
setup here. Pulled update from proposed repository. Rate of bug
reproducibility was getting more and more intensive with the time. In
the end there was quite no boot with right screen resolution. Fix
resolved it immediately. If m
Ran the same on cosmic, which other than dates in the log does not differ at
all.

ready again.
