It looks like a lot of extensions were broken due to a bug in glib (https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gjs/issues/227) and that the proposed repo has a new version of gnome-shell that might fix it (see https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2413138=13842678#post13842678). ** Bug watch added:
