Public bug reported:

Ubuntu Gutsy: using
/lib/modules/2.6.22-14-generic/kernel/drivers/media/video/bt8xx/bttv.ko as
shipped with the distribution, I get the following error sooner or later
(dmesg | tail):
[ 1362.107570] bttv0: registered device video0
[ 1362.107846] bttv0: registered device vbi0

I am using an S-Video input for a camera capture. The following
applications don't show an image (some show a blue screen, others just
white noise or a scrambled picture - all apps have been configured to
use S-Video input): vlc, zapping, xawtv.

tvtime is showing a perfect picture though.

I am using OpenCV to capture the frames and without changing the code, it
suddenly stopped working. The error message here was:
VIDIOC_DQBUF error 5, Input/output error (After a couple of frames)

This happens randomly and I have no way of provoking this.

** Affects: linux-meta (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
