banding stays on for me? Am I doing something wrong? Is there a method to

This regression / bug was found out almost 2 YEARS ago:

and a patch was sent to upstream (see post #2), but apparently it was never
pulled.
Regarding hex vs dec, the file in master they seem to be mixing both:

Please send a patch to upstream.
Also, 18514 should change to a hex value.
