Public bug reported:

Looking at the upstream calamares code there doesn't seem to be any
support for the arm architectures.  Currently the bootloader code only
deals with i386/amd64.  Whilst armhf can be a bit of a mess, I believe
there is now a consensus forming around grub on arm64/aarch64.  It would
be great if this could be added.

Similarly calamares-settings-ubuntu is not geared for the 'ports'
architectures.  The repo address is wrong and again the different
bootloaders are not supported.

Ubiquity works well with armhf/u-boot powerc/yaboot.  Calamares is
definitely inferior in this regard.
