To manage notifications a
I just installed Ubuntu 19.04 with UEFI boot, selecting Finnish as both
the language and the keyboard layout. The layout happens to be correct
for me after installation, ä and ö are working and only Finnish is
listed in Input Methods / layouts.
(My only problem is that the installer does no longer

Quick summary (from my POV, after discussing this with Marco in #ubuntu-
bugs):
The issue described here is that the keyboard layout chosen during the
Ubuntu 19.04 amd64 (default flavour) installer step does not carry to
the installed system, where only the US-English keyboard will be
available no
IRC discussion on #UBUNTU-DEV today

against. maybe ubiquity - the graphical installer, which should ensure that
your chosen defaults pertain on the installed system.
