Unfortunately a backport isi not possible, so far as I know. The newer alsa-plugins 1.0.18 requires alsa-lib 1.0.18, and policy for backports is that libraries generally aren't backported. In addition, ia32-libs contains libasound2-plugins 1.0.17 for intrepid, yes I know it installs a lot of othe
