I created a new user profile and now it works.
Would it be possible to delete a few files on the old profile (gnome control
center) related to get the old profile working?

hotspot and see if any warning/error is displayed on the standard

getting the issue?
When you say that the screen goes black, are you speaking about the settings
part of the session? Does it come back after a while?
