I also tested installing an Ubuntu 18.04 system using the original (no
point release) 18.04 iso file. I installed with a 5 GB root partition
(I'd used something smaller earlier and it never booted), then ran
update-manager and was presented with a dialog indicating I didn't have
enough free space t
