If this is an issue, then this is a cups issue but this is a normal
behavior.
Cups identifies the document as a text document
(CONTENT_TYPE=text/plain) Hence it uses the filter texttops then pstops.
I haven't read the postscript specification for a while but your file
doesn't look like a postscri
