Public bug reported: An unexpected "Install RELEASE" is present on my installed system after downloading and running as USB key the Ubuntu installer from https://ubuntu.com/download/desktop/thank- you?country=DE&version=18.04.2&architecture=amd64
This is not a huge problem but it is confusing... I found the suggestion to report a bug here (https://askubuntu.com/a/338952) relevant. I will not further track this bug and you can set it as "Will not fix" if you want, since I do not plan to install once again my system (next planned: Ubuntu 20.04) and I fixed my problem (by removing ubiquity). However, it might be interesting to double check for the current version and coming 20.04. ** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1837998 Title: Unexpected "Install RELEASE" launcher after installation To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1837998/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
