I would like to report the similar problem - after pressing Ctrl+S in any text
editing program (Kate, KDevoloper) the keyboard stops working in this (and only
this) editing program.
Switching to another application and getting back using Alt+Tab causes the same
problem.

Ctrl+Q does nothing (typing does not work).
Problem can be solved by switching to another tab and then getting back, OR, in
the case of KDevelop, opening some bottom 'special' window ('Messages',
'Konsole',...). By the way, accelerator combinations (for example Alt+'Number'

Running kubuntu Gutsy, about every 5th time I resume from suspend, my
keyboard will work for 30 seconds or so and then stop until I log out.
It seems that the keyboard always stops working around the same time as
lcampagn, ok thanks for letting us know the issue hasn't been appearing
again. Feel free to reopen if it does occur again, esp. if you can test
if it's still present in Jaunty.
