Somehow the combination of a mounted USB and accessing SMB did this. USB
mounted, though,
as did the shared file on a network computer.

Bugs, which is
Hardy Alpha 4, put in a CD which had Xubuntu CD Live on it. Ubuntu
recognized a disk with packages and asked if I wanted to run them which
I don't want to, so I selected ignore. I'm going to write another CD
Live onto it since it is a CD-RW.

I plugged a USB external disk with 3 partitions. Rhythmbox music player
then started (as if I had clicked a music file) and at the same time I
got this error message. The external disk was mounted fine.

Attached usb external hard disk with 2 partitions. It mounted both and

Hardy Alpha 4 from livecd, went to mount an internal partition from
Nautilus by double-clicking its icon. Nothing seemed to happen so I
double-clicked again. The drive mounted fine but I got this error.
Tried with a second partition, same result.
Subsequently I tried unmounting and remounting
Plugged in Sony digital camera. Popup window asked if I wanted to add
photos to my album; I selected ignore, then the crash occurred.

I inserted a usb stick and it automatically opened 2 of the same windows
of the fies on the usb stick and gave me the crash notice. I submitted
the report.

I confirm this bug. After installing all updates for Ubuntu 8.04 today,
I acttach the flash disk , which normally mounted. But gnome-mount
issued error.
