Public bug reported: Binary package hint: cheese
I have compiz fusion running. Cheese runs fine, when compiz is not running. Upon trying to load cheese via the command line, with compiz running, I receive a X Windows System error: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ cheese ** Message: Probing the webcam, please ignore the following, not applicabable tries using source: v4l2src The program 'cheese' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)'. (Details: serial 41 error_code 11 request_code 140 minor_code 19) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) ** Affects: cheese (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Cheese crashes on load with compiz running https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/184859 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
