hello, also having this problem with the ThinkBook 15. The touchpad seems to be of type "ELAN062F". I see this is also the same as listed in OP's udevdb. It seems that this could be the fix, since the ID "ELAN062F" is not present in the whitelist in "include/linux/input/elan-i2c-ids.h":
