I don't think this bug should be used two track two different issues.
This bug should be about the original problem:

@kaihengfeng it worked with that kernel. I had to disable secure-boot to
test the custom kernel, but it worked!!

I've just tested switching between the nvidia-driver-435 and nvidia-
driver-430 packages and I get the same error with both. I do not get any
problems with xserver-xorg-vide-nouveau.
