The pi4 can have up to 4Gb of RAM, that's a good start for zfs. I'm
using the dkms package for now, but hoping that this request is

ZFS kernel modules are not supported for small memory ARM platforms such
as raspberry pi as it requires at least 4GB of memory to perform without
causing memory pressure issues.
