As a workaround, as root, replace the contents of /usr/bin/youtube-dl
with the newest version found at: http://www.arrakis.es/~rggi3/youtube-
dl/youtube-dl

I confirm this. I am getting the following error when trying to download
a video:
Retrieving video webpage... done.
Extracting URL t parameter... failed.
Error: unable to extract URL t parameter.
Try again several times. It may be a temporary problem.
Other typical problems:
* Video no longer
I think upgrade is need for all Ubuntu release BTW i use Ubuntu 7.10
and Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy
