I installed the beta version.
It's work, but:
~$ gimp

No such file or
I installed the beta version. It helped
sudo snap install gimp --beta

Also happening to me. I uninstalled GIMP 2.10 via snap, as it was
crashing when I tried to start it. Then get a similar error when
attempting to install again.

The icon had disappeared in the Launcher, I tried to launch the program
from the Unity dash, and then with the terminal.
