It is fixed as I can't reproduce this anymore inside my lucid pbuilder
(and the official buildd builds delo successful too).

pkg_create_dbgsym fails if objcopy can't recognize the file format
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. This was reported quite a while back and there hasn't
been any activity since. Is this still an issue for you. Can you try
with the latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
