@Naveen, would you mind giving it another try using kernel 5.4.0.14 or newer on
focal?
Currently the archives provide the following kernels:
linux-generic | 5.4.0.14.17| focal | ppc64el
linux-generic | 5.4.0.18.22| focal-proposed | ppc64el

This one is fixed in 5.4.0-14. It's the pty03 LTP that is fixed by
upstream commit 0ace17d56824 (can, slip: Protect tty->disc_data in
write_wakeup and close with RCU).
