ibus 1.5.22-2ubuntu1 Steps to reproduce 1. Upgrade to GNOME 3.36.0. 2. Restart Ubuntu 20.04 daily with Wayland What did you expect to happen The ibus daemon is launched. What happened The ibus daemon is not running. I can confirm I have an exact same issue in https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/issues/2341 when login with wayland selected.
