Today I installed the updates and, in addition to several packages, the
wireless-regdb:amd64 (2018.05.09-0ubuntu1~18.04.1, 2020.11.20-0ubuntu1~18.04.1)
has been updated too. As a result, my previous connection problem has been
fixed.

I installed the i915 firmware, unfortunately it had no effect on WIFI.
(I read that this is required for the graphics card.)

I tried the 5.9.8-050908-generic kernel based on the description, but
unfortunately the 5GHz connection still doesn't work. What might be a
useful information that I got this message during kernel installation:
update-initramfs: Generating /boot/initrd.img-5.9.3-050903-generi
Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest
kernel [0].
If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following
tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'. If the mainline kernel does not fix this
