commit message didn't mention the LP bug, so our tooling couldn't add it

but this is not enough to get the lxd cloud_tests working again, as now
the rootfs is exported as a .squashfs file an
I think `lxd image export` is still able to produce the usual files, but
it stopped accepting a directory as a target (I'll file a bug, let's
see). So a different fix could be changing directory to output_dir and
then running `lxc image export`. I think subp() doesn't support changing
directories,
