I forgot to mention: i965_dri isn't used in later Ubuntu releases. It's
been replaced by a new driver called 'iris_dri'.
You will probably find that Ubuntu 20.04.1 works better:

That is bug 1890563 but that's a different issue to this one.
Although it's likely both issues are fixed in Ubuntu 20.04 already.
