This works on upstream OpenOffice.org 2.4.0~rc2 but fails on the Ubuntu
OpenOffice.org 2.4.0~rc2-1ubuntu3. It might be a java related problem
since the document has a form element in it, which iirc uses java code.
If it turns out to be java related then it probably won't be fixed until
we can use
Oh yea I should also note that Ubuntu's 2.4.0~rc2-1ubuntu3 does not
crash with the document that is in the Debian bug report but still
crashes with the document attached to this bug report in launchpad even
without any hyphenation dictionaries installed.

I guess this is related to the Debian bug here:

This is caused by the German hyphenation dictionary. You can work around that
by removing the package
openoffice.org-hyphenation-de or by disabling orthographical autocorrection.

Bad guess! I believe your were speaking German, but only stefanlew seems
to do so. But maybe it can occur with other hyphenation dicts. Maybe too
you can just forget my idea...
