Seems to work now in Hardy even without Johann Fuehrer fix. So i think
this bug could be closed.

On the GDM login screen choose Einstellungen/Settings and then
Sparche wählen/Choose language and select the language you have
choosen in the gnome selector. After that you should not get the message
again...
