I've seen this on Intrepid also (old Sony N505 series laptop)
My hardware is detected as
00:0c.0 CardBus bridge: Ricoh Co Ltd RL5c475 (rev 80)
and
01:00.0 Network controller: RaLink RT2500 802.11g Cardbus/mini-PCI (rev 01)
if that helps.
