when I run it a second time after killing (ctrl+c) it runs normally:

...etc...

It is also there with the ubuntu packages. In fact, it had been there at
least since alpha 3 but I think longer.
Steps to reproduce:
1. reboot
2. run glxinfo from the console (it only hangs the first time I try)
Version info:
kernel 2.6.24-7.12
linux-restricted-modules-generic 2.6.24.7.7
xserv
In that case I'll just close the bug, since we don't support out-of
archive software. If you are able to reproduce it with the Ubuntu
version of the package, feel free to reopen.

instead of using the restricted modules manager.
