I'm not entirely certain this is a great test case but given that the sound is not 0% with Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, I believe it is. kvm -m 4096 -boot d -cdrom ubuntu-20.04-desktop-amd64.iso -nic none -soundhw hda -hda /srv/vms/groovy.qcow2 Sound is not at 0. kvm -m 4096 -boot d -cdrom
