I would also like to add that the night light function and HDMI external

Hi Daniel, the driver that I have with ubuntu's support (the one that is
downloaded automatically) is giving me some problems. No freezes yet
(it's been around 6 hours).
The first problem is that the display does not seem to be claimed.
blaise@blaise-VivoBook2:~$ sudo lshw -c video

Yes, but you would first need to uninstall the driver you installed from
the AMD website. And I don't know how to do that.
Alternatively, reinstall Ubuntu from scratch. If you find Ubuntu 20.04
doesn't support the GPU then maybe try Ubuntu 20.10 (although that one
is only supported until July 2021
Is there a way to get a driver that you do support? Thanks so much.

Oh. Indeed it looks like your amdgpu kernel driver is a custom install:
DkmsStatus:

amdgpu, 5.6.0.15-1098277, 5.4.0-52-generic, x86_64: installed
Sorry, that makes it something we can't support. :(
** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu)
Interesting. When I installed ubuntu I had to install it from the Amd
website or else I was stuck with poor gpu functionality.

It doesn't show up because it's not "additional". It's open source and

Thanks Daniel. I will uninstall and reinstall my amd driver. Is there a
reason that the AMD driver does not show up in the ubuntu additional
drivers app and is there a way that I can get one to appear there? What
other recommendations might you have? Thanks so much
