This is still an issue in 2.32.2. Every few months Evolution decides to
redownload every E-Mail in my GMX POP3-Account...which is a little bit
annoying because I have 4k+ E-Mails in there.
Unfortunately, I have no idea what triggers it.

please add the feature to get and remove duplicate messages.

I had the same problem with Evolution in 8.10, 9.04 and 9.10! The
problem only occurs when I have trouble with in Internet connection
during an e-mail download.

The problems arises when the net traffic is very high ,[torrent
downloads or ... ] evolution is not able to contact the server and
settings get borked!
This happened several times for me , always during torrent downloads ,
I ended up with ~1000 mails! in my inbo

It has happened again, but so far I haven't been able to reproduce this
bug reliably.
I have saved the message (spam) that was received prior to the last
redownload of all messages, and the only thing that stands out is that
the Date: field in the message is quite far in the future (Thu, 03 Aug

It doesn't happen very often, and am exactly sure how it is triggered -
possibly by a malformed message. This account receives quite a lot of spam.
I will see if I can get more info next time it happens.
