Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox
Up until about the start of this week, the last.fm plugin would correctly send track details, however now it doesn't on either of my computers. It just claims 'Track submission failed too many times'. If I delete the submission cache, it'll work for a while, however the 'queued' track number just increases, as if it encountered an error, and eventually it stops trying. I had a look (with wireshark) at what was going over the wire, and it all looked correct, with last.fm returning an 'OK' response, however rhythmbox still doesn't realise it succeeded. My guess is that the response from last.fm has changed slightly and rhythmbox isn't understanding it any more (although it still seems to be in keeping with the protocol). This is Rhythmbox 0.11.2 on gutsy, both AMD64 and x86. ** Affects: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- last.fm plugin no longer scrobbles https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/190383 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
