I switched to the latest kernel now. After removing all printers, the
one described in paragraph one of #1 keeps getting re-detected.

Applications show two of them, where the first is "gathering
information" and cannot print. (attachment2 in the following post)

Settings -> Printers automatically adds "EPSON_L3160_Series" device but
it is unusable. I cannot remove it as it keeps getting automatically
added. It is also completely unusable and its "Printing Options" sho

Now I don't think this CUPS-BRF-Printer is related as it is shown even if my
printer is turned off.
