as a matter of fact, 0.11 only has some changes within the interface. to be
able to send tax reports for 2008 you also need the new libgeier 0.9 (hence
also out-of-date).
these tax reports have to be made 10 days after the closing of a month (for
monthly reports) or 10 days after the end of
a gutsy backport would be nice since most users are probably not yet on
hardy

0.10 is for fiscal year 2007.
0.11 has support for 2008.
I think 0.11 will not be (logically) outdated before end of 2008.
