I'm writing scripts around the partclone family of commands.  The man
page says that --quiet option :disable(s) progress message", but when I
use it I still get timings and such in the output.

I'm capturing all of the stdout and stderr output and formatting it.
This stuff is not affected, so I'm guessing it goes out on /dev/tty.  In
any event, it's messing with my format.  I'd like the option to work, or
have a way to get it on one of the standard streams.
