I think the problem is with libode.
A while ago I compiled stormbaan 1.5.2 from source, and I had to
compile my own libode. IIRC, Deb/Ubuntu's libode isn't configured with
something stormbaan needs.
LD_PRELOAD=/usr/local/lib/libode.so /usr/games/stormbaancoureur
worked for me.
(AMD64 Ubuntu
confirm in ubuntu 8.04 64 bit too.
