I have the same problem with both OOo 2.4 and 3.0.0 on Ubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid Ibex) on a Toshiba Satellite L315, which has a 14'' screen. Thanks for the tabulator fix, I hadn't thought of that! But it would still be nice to see the buttons, especially for when people first run into this problem.

I have the same problem, not with resolution, some extensions have a cropped non resizable windows and some buttons are not visibles. That is not an extension problem (i guess), is the GUI -- [Upstream] [hardy] Document Recovery window is non-resizable and can be too small
