USB 2.0 - notebook has 4 USB 2.0 ports - modprobe usb-ehci causes
loading USB and kernel finds USB ports, but when I plug in mouse or BT
adapter or harddrive into usb ports, those are not recognized anymore.
When I load usb-uhci all works fine can anybody tell me the reason

I have used the night updating my ubuntu install (update-manager -d),
but sadly the problem is still a problem. I just moved about 1gb file to
my usb pen, and the speed started at 8 mb/sec and ended at 1.5 mb/sec.
The usb pen is a Kingston DataTravler 100 8GB. The computer is a
ThinkPad T61.

The Ubuntu Kernel Team is planning to move to the 2.6.27 kernel for the
upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10 release. As a result, the kernel team would
appreciate it if you could please test this newer 2.6.27 Ubuntu kernel.
