Public bug reported: When I try do link against the shared library files from the libjsonnet0 package, a ton of definitions are missing, i.e. I get a huge amount of "undefined reference" errors.
Coincidentally, the libjsonnet++.so.0.15.0 and libjsonnet.so.0.15.0 files installed with this package are just 23KB and 875KB in size, respectively, which is just a tiny fraction of the roughly 20MB I get for each of those files when I build from source, so something cannot be right here. Side-note: It is quite annoying and useless that the sibling package, libjsonnet-dev, installs only the headers and broken symlinks to the shared object files, but does not contain the shared object files themselves. ** Affects: jsonnet (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1925678 Title: Shared object files are faulty, they don't contain all the definitions To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/jsonnet/+bug/1925678/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
