I'm also experiencing this exact issue on Jaunty Netbook Remix installed on a Dell Mini 9 with Broadcom 4312 wireless chipset. Ping connectivity drops, but network manager reports full signal on wireless. Logs attached. Should I enable Jaunty backports for a fix? ** Attachment added: dmesg.log

I have resolved the issue by installing the compat-wireless drivers at http://wireless.kernel.org/en/users/Download. Everything is working now, i have used openvpn over wireless for 2 hours now. Also, wpa2 is working now! -- ping: sendmsg: No buffer space available (wifi)
