Hello, This is a fresh OS installation. I simply rightclick on the file
and select extract option. Didint use any specific software. even though
the unrar was not installed I was able to extract by right clicking on
the file.

Hello Amith, can you please let us know what program was used to 'unrar'
your rar file when unrar wasn't installed? What was the contents of the
resulting file? What file manager were you using?
