I am trying to install an alternative version of openoffice-impress, as
described here:

https://ubuntuhandbook.org/index.php/2017/06/downgrade-a-package-in-
ubuntu-via-synaptic/

While I can choose 1:7.1.2~rc2-ubuntu2 (hirsute) in the Force version
dropdown, there is no effect upon clicking "Force Version".

Nothing is updated in the package selection pane and the "Apply" button
is not active.
