I got similar keyboard anomalies in text mode (debian 4.0 guest) using virt-viewer. After some time some keys start disappearing between host and guest. In most cases "Shift" stops to work. Pressing "Shift" + "a" results in no character send. Sometimes even standard keys like "s" or "a" stops to
