Note: in a virtual box virtual machine, it does detect it correctly as a
BIOS. Not Uefi in legacy mode.

For older computers this completely breaks support for installation.
The only workaround I have is installing Ubuntu into a virtual machine,
writing the disk image to the physical hard drive. Installing Ubuntu 18
so Grub works with both entries, although i have to use the fallback
initramfs option
