I got this bug when I upgraded my AMD64/Dual Core (Asus MB/NVidia grpx) system to 7.10. It wasn't there before in the previous release.
After some fiddling around and reading the threads here, I tested various options for getting rid of it. I eventually added the "ec_intr=0" option to the kernel, and now the keys no longer get stuck. I have been stable now without this bug for quite some time.
