This bug is getting old, so i'm closing it now. If you are still having
problems, perhaps it is better to open new bug reports instead, one for
each problem.

What do you mean by do a rsync? I simply downloaded the livecd from
21-2-08. I also had to update the packages on the cd before the install
because there was a bug in ubiquity that caused a hang in the install.
After the update I just did a normal install.

I have reinstalled with an image from 29022008 and I still have the same
problem. I have lots of lacking functionality (which some of is
available on the livecd). I have to manually install stuff like
powernowd, mesa, bluetooth - all of which are recommended by already
installed packages or meta
