new test: from lvm2 I delete all LV, VG and PV. Using disk, erase all partition
on 2 SATA2 hard-disk, then reformatting (sda, sdb) with no filesystem. Reboot
the system (Lubuntu on sdc -an hardware RAID IT8212).
Using lvm I create 2 PV and 1 VG using maximum size. Then I create a LV RAID0
64G 2stripe, 512K stripesize.
Using DVD live for Ubuntu 20.4.3 I install a new system still on the LV RAID0.
Installation is ok, but impossible install GRUB on sdc or LV RAID0, the button
is grayed out. Permit sda,sdb or sdc2 ( a partition into IT8212, flagged
bootable).
Grub in sda or sdb end in a busybox, in sdc2, can't recognize the new system.
Null happen using Grub customizer from Lubuntu. In Internet I can't find update
information about how grub access RAID0. Somebody tells that automagically must
config and load the necesary modules for achieve the goal. Not in this case.
Have a nice day
next test: a linear LV for /boot and LVraid0 for /
