This issue is solved now. I don't know if the Ubuntu packers fixed it or if it
was me.
In case it is the latter, I added the "proposed" repository and manually went
through all nvidia files in aptitude and then was able to update.
It installed a 650 and a 655 version of one of the files and that
** Package changed: ubuntu => nvidia-graphics-drivers-470 (Ubuntu)
** Tags added: impish
