Public bug reported: Connect a Google Nest to a ASUS laptop running Ubuntu 20.04, the devices pair, and *Office Speaker* shows up as an output device in the *Sound* settings, but no sound is heard (also doing the speaker test).
In Debian sid/unstable with GNOME Shell 41.2 and *gnome-bluetooth* 3.34.5-4, there is one more row in the audio settings allowing to set up some codecs. After changing that around, it finally works. Ubuntu probably needs something similar. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Attachment added: "Screenshot of audio/sound dialog in Debian sid/unstable" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1956147/+attachment/5550544/+files/debian-sid-unstable.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1956147 Title: bluetooth: Google Nest not working To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1956147/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
